Dropping from San Francisco, California, In Space & Time Records proudly presents its final release of 2013: Train Sessions, an EP by NYC/SF based producer DJ Booda (Rich Hayssen). Clocked at just over thirteen minutes, this bi-coastal album features an eclectic fusion of old-school, drum machine beats and tape-cassette textures with contemporary hiphop and downtempo rhythms, arpeggios, and harmonies. Interspersed with field recordings Hayssen captured during his time studying at Dubspot in New York City, Train Sessions is an exploration in rich and nostalgic beats that promises repeated enjoyment.
